His mums name is alice purser, his dads name is joseph salter. my dad joseph henry salter was born 1925, dad doesnt no much about his dad he was in the navy he thinks, they also had a son leonard salter born 1932 and died the same year. Alice than meet arthur whittingtonb1895, and had 2 sons arthur and george their surname was salter-whittington, he thinks one of them lived in tolworth surrey. He also had a younger brother fredrick not sure who his dad is, but dad thinks alice died alice crowsley. also dad thinks that the surname salter was changed from salt. dad was brought up in highgate north london. sorry to ramble on, but hard to explain it all, would love to no if i have any living relations from dads side. regards jo
