Hello I am trying to find information regarding my great-grandmother, Eliza Jane Savage. Born in Belfast/County Down circa 1850. Arrived in New Zealand sometime prior to July 1875, when she married my great-grandfather, Joseph Shatford. Probably had a sister Mary who married James Inglesby, also in Christchutch. I have not been able to establish the ship they arrived on, although the manifest for the Dover Castle, which arrived in New Zealand in 1872, shows 'Ellen' and Mary Savage. There is also a link with a James Shield Stephenson Savage, although I do not think he is their brother. Eliza Jane's father was possibly also a James Savage.
