Shein family that came to UK from Russia

Trying to trace the family of my Grandfather. He was born Voulf Shein somewhere in Russia on 18th March 1882. His fathers christian name was Semen Shein. My grandfather came to the UK between 1898 and 1905. As far as I know he arrived with his mother and sister. I have found his first marriage records and he had changed his name to Woolf Shine. I also know that he served in the British Army during the first world war because I have a medal of his. If anyone can help with any information I would be very gratefull. I know he lived in the Mile End area of London and later in the Hackney area. Regards Sonia |
