Member Since: April 2006 Posts: 0 Send Message	Tracing the descendants of Abraham Sheppard c1785 of Great Torrington, Devon His children were: Thomas b.1811 John c1812 William c1815 Thomas married Sarah Cock, their children were: Elizabeth c1830 Eliza c1832 Jane c1832 William Cock Sheppard b.1836 Matilda c1837 Thomas c1839 John c1842 James Cock Sheppard b.1845 The family were all carpenters and almost all remained in the Gt.Torrington area. The exception was William Cock Sheppard who went to the St.Pancras area of London to work as a piano maker (with the Brinsmead company I believe). He married Priscilla Holt and they had 7 children. Any information would be a great help.
