Hi, my great grandmother was Clara Shipman who lived in Derbyshire. She married Charles Evans with whom she had 3 children: 1. Arthur (my grandfather) b.25/09/1920 d.12/01/89. 2. Winifred died 2007 3. Peggy still alive and lives in Codnor Derbyshire. She lived at Holly Hirst Terrace, Riddings. She died around 1981 and is burried at Leabrooks, Derbyshire. Her father was killed in WW1. She lived at 259 Fletchers Row, Ironville, Codnor Park Derbyshire with her mother (Kate West) & father (William Shipman) there daughter who they possibly had out of wedlock (Fanny West)., and the father in law (Samuel West, born n Somercotes 1831 and was a coal miner, who possibly died in 1902 Belper). Is there anyone out there who thinks they may have a connection? Particuarly about Kate, William, Fanny & Samuel (would like to fond out who Sam's wife/partner was!) so please get in touch. Thanks!
