The Slingsby family have been prominent in Yorkshire for a 1000 years and their offspring are now to be found all over the world. In order to try and develop an understanding of Slingsby history and Slingsby successes today there is a new website at www.theslingsbys.org (this will forward you to the site that I can't display here. It ends in . cow . you kay :-)) You will find my email address there and I will be happy to reply to any questions you may have. If you can make a contribution to the site in the form of your family tree and history or just details of where you are in the world and what you do, I would so grateful. My tree is also here and I have done quite a lot of research at genesreunited so thanks to them! Thanks William Slingsby
