SYDNEY SMITH b. 1874 Chelsea, London or maybe Birmingham. His parents were Joseph Samuel Smith & Fanny Buckley, Chelsea, London (originally from the Birmingham area of Aston). Sydney had brothers GEORGE PETER SMITH and JOHN BUCKLEY SMITH. 1881 Census address was 74 Railton Road, Lambeth. Sydney may have joined a Vessel at around 17 years of age. I would like to know what happened to Sydney and did he have family? Maybe he emigrated? Any info would be much appreciated.
