Member Since: April 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	My uncle Percy Southgate was born in Aldershot Barracks 1875. His father Edward was a schoolmaster to the 8th Hussars. Edward married Alice Maud boyle 1874. Alice was from Ireland, and came from a military family. I have their marr cert. which tells me that Edward's father was William. I still do not know where he was born. Percy was also in the army, and his son Eric was POW in WW!! reported missing and Killed 12 Sep 1944. Alice's brother Percy Boyle was mayor of Weymouth in the late 1920's. Any help with more information on this family will be welcome. Elizabeth
