Member Since: January 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	mary jane spencer was my great grandmother - born somewhere around london about 1888. She left there aged about 4 and came with her mother up to newcastle on a boat i believe. Her mother sold sawdust around the pubs on newcastle quayside and died on the dog leap stairs in front of mary aged about 6. mary went on to marry bill stirling - any one know anything about her origins in london.
