Hi, I am trying to locate information on my Great-Grandfather - Charles Stafford. Unfotunatley, little is know about him as he left his wife and son, my Grandfather, very soon into his marrige to Elizabeth Jessie nee Tillyer, my Great-Grandmother. We know he married Elizabeth on the 4th April 1920 aged 38, and his father detailed on the marriage certificate is Robert. I realise that this is a long shot, but you gotta try. The wedding took place in All Saints Church, Wimbledon; witnesses were John Henry Francis Tillyer and Catherine Kent. Elizabeth was 24 at the time of the marriage. Thanks |
