Hi Coral,

I am a member of familyrelatives.org. You can do a search on surname with mother's maiden name from 1911-1920 so that is what I did.

Before 1911 it is harder as mother's maiden name is not listed so you would just be guessing and then from 1920 you need to search per quarter per year.

If anyone has these people in their trees any information would be helpful. I have now been given the familysearch.org information and it looks promising to getting further back with ancestors. But if anyone has any of the people I mentioned I would love to hear from them.

My grandfather was said to have numerous brothers and sisters but I haven't traced any yet. His parents, William and Maria, married 1895 and he was born 1897 but on the 1901 census he is the only child.

My maternal grandfather was William Alfred Edward Weller bn Brighton Sussex 1897

His parents were William Edward John Weller bn 1875 Brighton and Maria Jane Harland bn 1876 Newington Surrey

William's parents were William Weller bn 1843 and Harriet Susannah Stapleton bn 1848 Brighton

Harriet's parents were John Thomas Stapleton bn 1804 Deptford and Eliza Carter bn 1818 Lindfield Sussex

Maria's parents were William Harland bn 1838 Brighton and Ellen Field bn 1845 Brighton

William Harland's parents were James Harland bn 1813 Brighton and Caroline unknown bn 1816 Brighton

Ellen Field's parents were Joseph Field bn 1818 Brighton and Maria Baker bn 1816 Brighton

Any help would be appreciated
