Trying to find Starry

Help!! I have been trying for some time to trace a lady called Mrs. M. Starry who lived at 64, London Road, Bromley, Kent in1941. I cannot find anyone anywhere who has the surname Starry, and am wondering if it is a made-up name! This lady has a connection with the adoption of my husband in 1936 when he was 3 years old; his name at birth was Anthony Sidney Cherrill, although his natural father's name was Charles King. When he was adopted his new parents named him Reginald Foster. In my husband's adoption file is a letter from Mrs. M. Starry, and I would be very grateful if anyone could supply any information on her or her descendants. A long-shot, I know. Many thanks, Janet Foster.
