Hi, my name is Lisa Stoddard and I have been researching my family
history now for about 6 years and have come to a dead end in respect
of not being able go to the birthplace of my ancestors because I am
disabled.


I am interested in finding any information about Joseph Stoddard who I
think was born in Mere, Cheshire. I don't know what year he was born,
but his son James was born in 1808.

On James Stoddard's marriage certificate to Mary Snelson in February
1838, Joseph's profession is stated as Stonemason and living in
Chelford. I also think he may be buried in Rostherne Cemetary.

If anyone can find any information on this person I would be truly
grateful.
