No....sadly I have very little information to go on. I am just informed that my late Mother was there in the latter part of the 40's/early 50's. An elderley Aunt gave me the info but we are not from this area so I was hoping that 'someone' might know with a Staffordshire knowledge. She just said that it was close to Stoke and was named something like 'Torquet'!!!!! |

Have you tried a google search? Or the local library/archives? If you know it is now derelict, do you not have better address information for the search? |

Hello there, I wonder whether you can help me at all. I'm searching for the name of a Children's Home that existed in 1950's Stoke/Staffordshire. All I know is that it begins with the letter T and was a Victorian looking building. It is/was now derelict. |
