I am interested in finding any STUBBINGS who have links with the Ickleton area in Cambridgeshire. So far I have been able to trace back to 1634, but would like to fill in all the gaps.

Hello Kathleen
I have an interest in the Ickleton Stubbin(g)s family as they intermarried with the Ellis and Flitton families.
Eliza Stubbins b.1820, Ickleton married William Ellis b.1822, Ickleton in 1841 at (guess where?)Ickleton. Eliza's parents were James Stubbins and Sarah Peters who married in 1801 and had 12 other children born between 1801 and 1824.
If you would like further details concerning this family please let me know. I have not got round to putting them on my genesreunited tree as they are rather remote from my direct ancestors, but I am interested in anyone from Ickleton or Hinxton.
All the best
Lin
