my grandmother, margaret angela tagg was adopted (possibly by friends of her parents) when very young and does not remember or speak much of her family before she joined the airforce and moved to northern ireland. all my parents and i have been able to find out is that she lived in yorkshire and reading before and after the adoption (i'm not sure of what order) and was an only child. she is not even sure what year she was born because of a mix-up with her birth certificate but is approx. 70-80 years old. my father has been trying to find out about his mothers family for years so if you have any possible information, i would be truly grateful... thanks. |

It's a long shot, but I have been looking for my half-sister since 2003. She was an only child who was born about 1935/6 and one of her possible places of birth was Yorkshire, somewhere near Burton Salmon. I know she was either adopted or fostered. Do you have any more information? |
