Moira Report 2 Jun 2007 16:38

Hi. I am looking for my Mother or relations of Mary Taylor (Newlands) She was married to Kenneth Gault Taylor in Nov 1944 at Rockville Church Glasgow and both were in the Forces.I was born Sept 1945 at Bilsland Drive Glasgow. My Parents separated and I lived with my Grandparents in Aberdeenshire. They were divorced in late 1940's and I never knew of my Mother. Perhaps she remarried or moved abroad. I have only just with the help of Scotlandspeople found out who my Grandparents were. Their names were William Newlands who died in 1944 and Mary Ellen Cooke. William was buried in Glasgow cemetery but I can't find anthing about my Grandmother Mary Ellen Newlands (Cooke) as to where she is buried. Hope someone can help. Thanks Moira
