Trying to trace Richard Taylor who I think was born in Barnsley but not sure. His daughter Ethel was brought up in hoyland Barnsley she was born 1914. Anyone have a Richard in thier tree please?

What was Ethel's mother's name? Then you can look for marriage.

Ethels Mum was a Bamforth but not sure of her first name though.

Go to freebmd..search.births...name Taylor...spouse/mother name Bamforth...you will get a few births one of which is Ethel..Barnsley....get the certificate for other info.

Sept 1914...vol 9c..page 604..Barnsley

When you have mother's first name too, from the cert you can look for marriage.
