I am trying to find the record of death of John Benjamin Taylor who did in a hospital in Rouen, France on 9th December 1918. I looked at the deaths records and although he was English and was taken ill just before the Great War ended, I cannot actually find his death certificate. His home town was Bury, Lancashire and he was born in 1892. |

Have you looked at the military deaths index rather than the normal GRO one? I think it's on findmypast. |

Yes, I found his grave but can't find the death certificate. I actuall visited his grave last year, the only relative to do so in 88 years! I will look on findmypast. Thanks for your help. |
