I'd be glad of information about any Thoburns who were born in Newcastle in the 1800s and early 1900s. My grandmother was Jane Thoburn born 1871/72

Hi Rodney,
My grandmother was a Mary Ann Thoburn, born 1885, whose father was John George Thoburn, born 1858 and married to Isabella Relph. They had a daughter Mary Jane born in 1852.
The Thoburns lived in Morpeth, may be no connection.
