I an fnd a marriage for John Alford in Seotember 1860, Mere, 5a 372, but not a matching reference for Jael/Joel


Simialrly, I can find a marriage for Henry Burfitt in September 1855 Mere, 3a 357, but not a mathcing reference for Jael/Joel.


As far as John Herridge is concerned, this is what I found

It looks like Jael remarried doesn't it, thanks for all of that, yes I think Joseph is family but not quite sure where yet as there are so many I didn't realise. I have the 1881 Census of Joseph and John. I have heaps to go through after dinner, I am trying to get in as much as possible. I will keep my genes on line just in case I get any more messages from you.

I've just looked at that census above again ......... I don't think they are GRANDCHILDREN!! I think Jael has married again! She and Henry are onlt 50, birthdates about the same year as Jael/Joel Herridge!

John Herridge B1837 Mere m Joal/Jael Herridge. Have the 1881 Census and that is all, I was wondering if anybody could please look up for me 1891/1901 Census. On the 1881 they are living at Holwell, Mere with 5 children, but the ones most likely to be on the 1891 Census would be Eliza J B1874 Emily B1876 and Rosa B1879
Any help would be appreciated
