BVRI

just had to look up the correct description. I knew what they were but not the correct words!!

British Isles Vital Records.

A 16 CD set can be bought from the LDS Church.

Margaret has a set, and is very willing to share the information on them.

Hi Julia

went for a little break ............... but now I'm leaving for the evening. It's almost 10 pm here, and I'm going cross-eyed!!

That is interesting. They have to be connected somehow!! It can't just be a coincidence.

As I said, I'm giving up for the evening, but if you want, put up another thread, and I'll have a look tomorrow. Husband comes back from China early tomorrow afternoon, but I should have some time in the morning (ie, about 12 hours from now!!)

take care.

Glad I've been able to find so much for you.

Thanks Lindsey, much appreciated.

This is for Sylvia if she is still around.

Do you remember yesterday researching Jael Herridge and you found her on 1861 census married to John Alford ended up with him marrying Rachel. Then you started investigating the unusual name and found another Jael as Jael Lampard on 1841 Census. We found out in the end my Jael remarried Henry Burfitt and we have left it at that. But there is a strange thing and I should leave it alone which I am going to do but thought you would be interested in what has happened.
Today you have been investigating Thomas Herridge, well he is Jael's brother. Thomas was married to Eliza and they had one son Frederick on 1871 census. In 1881 Thomas had died and Fred was in the workhouse with a Louisa Lampard and two children. Then you found the remarriage of Eliza to James Cowley and the other couple were Charlotte Dolman and a THOMAS ALFORD. Is that strange or what!!!
Found it all when I started putting two and two together.

Whoops, I made a mistake, you have the correct one George and Fanny, George being born in Shaftesbury, Wiltshire. I am sorry I gave you Eliza by mistake, too much going on in my head at the moment. Didn't mean you to work overtime on it.
Could you please tell me what BVRI is only Margaret yesterday got me marriages from there and I am just curious.
Are you going to take a break or are you up for more, if so I will post them on a new thread just let me know before I do.
