there is a Charles Edward born in Camberwell in1896
a Beatrice born in Camberwell in 1897 and various Florence's
Is it worth trying to find them together on 1901 (with Charles poss mis-transcribed as Charles F.)

Charles record looks to be amongts those that were listed as burnt,,,,,,,,,,

I couldnt find army records for him.Many were burnt in the war and if he stayed in after 1920 then they are still with the Army.

It looks like you may need to get a birth certificate as it was after 1901 census. You just get the above details on the index. You can get one for £7 also if you check on the site they say they will check against the birth date to see if it is the right one.

one died in leighton hospital in crewe

and the other died in glamorgan think well def in wales

those were his two sisters dont know which one which and dont think so long ago cert in the past 18 years say

You can download the medal card for £3.50 but it doesnt really give personal details just what medals given. Do you know when any of them died?

well it looks like he could be the one bn 1895,,,,he should be on the 1901 census,,,age abt 4/5.........

thats good whats his number on the medals,,it will be round the edge,,
as it may have in his record next of kin,,,,,

they often joined other regiments in the course of duty,,,,,
