Thankyou Claire. No mention of the place name Deptford for any of these? Most of my other Plant Ancestors were mostly born in Deptford. Some in Ireland but only a few and then theres the Cape Of Good Hope. Again with that one only a few. Mostly Deptford though.

Thankyou
Regards Marion

Hello,
Hope all you Mums had a lovely Mothers Day. I am trying to find John Plant born about 1842 and William Plant born about 1830 Deptford.(Brothers) I have found them both on the Census with their parents William and Matilda Plant but nothing after they left the family home. I did find this marriage for a John Plant and as I have other Plant Ancestors born in The Cape Of Good Hope I wasn,t sure.?

Their Parents were William Plant and Matilda Plant Nee Fulcher. William Plant Senior was also born Cape Of Good Hope about 1796. His profession is shown as Master Mariner. If anyone can help with John and William Junior and their families your help would be most appreciated.

Regards Marion
