I just looked at the details i have of her on 1901 census and it looks like she was born Sutton Isle Ely Cambridgeshire, could someone check this census for me to check that is right as i have just scribbled it down and hope that i havent got muddled with one of her daughters, because the birth i have scribbled down says she was born Newmarket?!

Jill, i dont know if it is any of those 3, she was born 1874 does that tie in with any of them? She married William Leach in 1891, and i believe she was born in Cambridgeshire, does this help?

To go backwards with Emily...you need to buy the Marriage cert (£7)

This will give you her Fathers name and occupation

Their name is Emily Jolly 1874, she later married William Leach, i think i have her on the 1901 census with my grt grt grandmother Agnes Mabel Leach, i have her birth record and her marriage record, but am missing her death record and her on any of the other census's can anyone help?

Where did they marry? If someone looks up the GRO reference for you, you can then send off for the marriage certificate.

Because my nan (his daughter) told me he was born in Ireland and that she doesnt think his parents ever moved to UK they always stayed in Ireland

My nan believes his fathers name may have been John but not 100%

I dont have his marriage record to be able to find his marriage certificate

How do you know he was born in Ireland? If you buy his UK marriage certificate, it will tell you his fathers name which will be a start.
