Member Since: July 2007 Posts: 90 Send Message	James Holland & Angela Dale adopted my dad and named him Robert Paul Holland. My dads original birth name by his birth mother (Mary Bridget Carmody) was Paul Patrick Carmody, and was born in Burnley Hospital on 8 oct 1959. James Holland died before i was born (1981) so i never new my Grandad. Angela died when i was about 10 years old so around 1991 and was in her 80's. Angela had a sister Joan. James and Angela never had any more children. Does this ring any bells with any one? They both died in Colwyn Bay but I think they had family in the Manchester/Lancashire areas. James and Angela were going to adopted another little boy but weren't allowed as they were too old! Angela was a very religious lady and even worked in her local church, St Josephs in Colwyn Bay next to the primary school that me, my brothers and my dad attended.
