Hi Traci. Thank you for looking it up. I'm certain his name was Albert Lafayette and that he died in Memphis. He died within a year of 1946 but I can't find his death. Thank you for your help; it is appreciated. Perhaps some day his information will appear.

Sorry none of Albert Lafayette. But there are plenty of other LAFAYETTEs in Tennessee though..
