The only other thing I can think of is to find the parent's deaths then see if theres an obituary in the local paper

hi claire Frederick lived with them for quite a few years he eventually got married in 1897 to an Ada Pelling.........

Trouble is there are a few possibles & the only way to know is to order birth certs. You could ask for them to be checked against parents names which would save some money

hi claire yes i understand that but my gran always said that there were 18 of them and i also have a copy of a newspaper article celebrating the 50th wedding aniversary of Edward and Agnes which says they had 18 children of there own and also 2 children that they addopted ........this is what confirmed to me what my gran had said i know some of the dates were wrong but like you say memories fade...............GARY.....

Gary we are trying to find a gap big enough for another child to be born but we need your dates to be correct first.
