Daphne's daughter probably married Raymond E Smith in 1987 (see on FreeBMD) - and is therefore presumably Esta.

That couple have a son Darren, who's listed with them until 2018 on the ER for Newport.
Raymond's on the 2021 ER, Susan's only listed until 2015.

Sadly, she died:

No, unfortunately the messages have not been opened. But to be honest, after such a long time has passed I didn't really expect them to. Like somebody said, there's many reasons why this could be. I'm not relying on any single person, just exploring different avenues etc.

As said, Kathleen and Jean have such common names that it's pretty much impossible.

If you know their exact dates of birth, that might help - though of course you can't post the dates on here unless they are definitely deceased.

The most productive line would be Daphne's.................

Although, as ErikaH says, it's not good to rely on info from other people, so long as you check everything out for yourself, it can be helpful.

Someone called Mary has Jean on her GR tree - as do you and Sue, and possibly others who haven't specified the exact place of birth.

Kathleen fisher was born in Shrewsbury in 1944. No sign of a middle name.
I tried freedmb for a possible death cert but no joy. I will try with the middle sister too. Think the logical next step is to try ancestry. The problem I have is linking up the marriages etc.

Unfortunately the other two girls have such common names that it's impossible to know which marriage or death records could be theirs.

Do you know the second daughter's middle name? That might help narrow the field.

I knew from sue smiths original post that daphne had passed away but had no idea that she was so young. Very sad.
To be honest I have a hard time navigating through all this. I feel like I'm going round in circles. I'm going to redo my ancestry subscription this week. I feel like sue smith is the key to all this its just tracking her down. Still no reply from either sue or Naomi who also has relatives in common. Somebody mentioned a Darren smith on ancestry so I'm going to check this out in the next few days.

All this information is excellent!
My grandfather was Robert and my grandmother was Amy.
I found out that Amy had three children from a previous marriage before her marriage to Robert. Robert had a lot of aliases, and apart from his marriage cert to Amy there isn't much known about him apart from personal things my dad has told me from his childhood.
It is the previous three children I am interested in finding on my dads behalf. He had no idea about them until I joined ancestry and as these are his half sisters he is very interested in finding them.
As far as I can make out, sue smith mentioned on a thread that one of them had passed away and didn't want to name the other two as they were still alive, but this was 2008.
I have found their birth certificates but from there I have no idea.
