No I have ordered Doreens birth certificate. Doreen was born in Bradford in 1927. Her grandfather died in Halifax in 1931 and her mother and his daugther was living in Wyke, Bradford at the the time of the Grandfather's death. So I know that she was not born in Sheffield

Don't know lol, I guess there are dozens of things it could be!

It's a bit hard to look through indexes without knowing what it is - even when a name is known, it involves trawling quarter by quarter through each year - quite time consuming.

MaryMc Report 14 Jun 2008 10:50

I can't see a Harrison/Larder marriage between 1940 -1954.

Perhaps it's not Larder?

Squire is her father's first name not her surname.

I cannot think what other surname it is. Because it def goes (?)arder
