Joy *The Carlos Cutie of Ilson* Report 15 Jun 2008 19:33

Perhaps one of the children's birth certificates will provide the answer. Looked for a Sydney Bryant born c1848 registered in Clutton, the registration district for where the family are living in 1851 and found this.

Year: 1848
Qtr: Apr-May-June
District: Clutton
Vol: 11
Page: 206

There are registrations matching the names of the 3 girls in the same district.

Sherbert Rose Report 15 Jun 2008 18:53

My ggg grandfather Thomas Bryant was born in c1803 in Stoke Lane Somerset. He maried twice (I think) I have found him on the 1851 census married to Emily and I think he was also married to Amy Tomlinson. I do not know what Emilys Maiden name was or who was the mother on the children on the 1851 census. I am guessing it was Emily.

I have not managed to find any marraiges for Thomas.

If anyone out there can help with information I would be very grateful

Thanks Sandra
