A few weeks ago a lady kindly emailed me a copy of a page from the 1881 census showing members of my family residing in tents in Smiths Orchard, Kingwood Common, Oxon. Also living in tents in the same orchard, there is is a William Loveridge, mistress Elizabeth Newport, Will Archer, son aged 14 born Runville, Berks, Mathew 8 born Reading, Eadeth Newport 5 born Northlich, Gloucester and Sarah 2, born Abingdon, Berks. Hoping this may assist someone's search. Regards Janette
