how can you find info on someone without a date of

Maxine, as I explained earlier, it could be a long job to search for the marriage of Frank Powis to a Freda May somebody. The death cert info will not give you the maiden name. |

my dad wont talk about the adoption,he was very hurt by it,his real parents left him in a box in a telephone box when he was very small or thats the story,i cant approach my father with this,maxine |

Second option to find her maiden name, it's your grandmother so her child (your mother or father) will have her maiden name on their birth certificate. |

Not impossible, but could be a long job given the time, you need to look for the marriage of Frank Powis by checking the BMD images quarter by quarter, year by year until you find a possible. |

Did she die after 1984 in England or Wales., ..if so we might be able to find a record quite easily. This should show her date of birth and biirthplace. |

Buy the marriage cert to Frank Powis, this will tell you her maiden name and her age plus (hopefully) the name of both their fathers. |

my grandmother was married but i dont know her maiden name or date of birth,she married a frank powis who was born in 1914,her married name was freda may powis but i dont have her date of birth or anything,sadly she has passed away before i could ask her,is this an impossible one???? thanks,maxine |
