Thanks for that. The birth certificate has her given name as Caroline Ann Gee with the mother's name as Worrall so I think that William Gee was probably the father. There's no one left who would know so I'm afraid that it really is best guess.

I'm finally back from 4 days away working and you have been incredible! This information is fantastic. I've been hoping that a marriage certificate I ordered would be the right one but it wasn't...so frustrating! I've been trying to track down my grandfather's 1st marriage but I won't give up! George Worrall was the son of John Worrall and Eliza Patchett they were married 8/4/1851 Nottingham St Mary (parents tie in with george on the 1871 census) Haven't found George's baptism but have got three of his siblings

Don't mention the Smith's..My husband is a Smith as was his father and mother. I don't fancy having to untangle that lot!

There are only twenty nine burial records for the name of worrall starting from 1796 up to 1884 no luck there.

I've just remembered I didn't give you the addresses for the baptisms of George and Sarah Worrall's children
they were living at Leenside for the first three.
just noticed george has a different occupation and address for Edwards baptism so maybe he isn't yours.
