My goodness, how pathetic . I can't see what on earth was wrong with what you did!! Maybe it is a case of "knowledge is power"!

Don't stop helping others Sam Spade. Can't you report him to anyone and say you found his email upsetting?

Complain to the owner of the site about the email... and make out like you didn;t realise he was the owner if he bites back ,....lol

Geez this man is a control freak! another member just emailed the group to say she had parish records of a parish very dear to my heart,so I sent her an email (through the site) and asked if she happened across any names of mine if she'd let me know.Just had another email from him to say they were being transcribed and I can wait!!!!!

I personally dont think it is fair that members who give up their time to transcribe parish records should be asked to do look ups as well, if everyone done this, what would be the point of transcribing them. There are over 3000 baptisms for ******.

I photographed the images, so when the transcriptions appear on the website, you can ask to see the original images.

my suspicion's are correct I think.

my husband has just got home and read the emails, what he actually said i don't think i should write on here but let's say he said he has a large round piece of timber in somewhere VERY uncomfortable!!!

Calming down now, and feeling very sorry for 'him'

ooooh i have already transcribed all the Smiths from ******, maybe i can help with the lookups.

I can play the "i've transcribed all the data from ***** years ago....." line.

My gosh to think i had all that work completed by hand 50 years before computers were invented..... he's so behind the times...sheesh lol

Reading this thread with amazement.......go on Sam..name and shame the site, I`m looking for all those Jones rellys from Wales!!! i`m sure some of you must have all the info I require............... transcribed many years ago, along with all those Smiths.... come on, lets go and keep the miserable old duffer busy.
