Did you ever find the marriage of Thomas Adams to Martha.

It`s possible they didn`t marry till later and she was Martha Stokes.

I think I've got the correct one now as he is Joseph T in 1901. The marriage and birth record helped. So the other's that Margaret found are correct.

It's possible that the family Margaret found with the son called Thomas, parents Thomas and Martha are the correct ones and Joseph was using the name Thomas.

You really need to get this marriage cert to find out his father's name and occupation, because as Joseph Adams is a common name you could be following the wrong line without definite proof.

Hi margaret as you say tom was grandson on 1871 also george was born in wednesbury

christine don't know when they married his wife was name Annie Handley she came from kidderminster there first child was born in 1913

Can't find a marriage of Thomas and Martha and there are too many Marthas on the 1871 census born West Bromwich to guess which one is her.

There are 2 in 1891 correct are but neither with father Thomas.

There is no Joseph showing up with parents Thomas and Martha.

could thomas be tom joe or joe tom as joes children were gert dennis,thomas poss name after uncles and aunts think this is the one thanks will check
