Hi Julie,

Oh Yes, should have said that! The J's are for the husband's names. That was the convention then (and even today for some).

Hi Julie,

It's quite a poor copy of microfiche, so if it matches all except the J, that might be okay.

Hello All,

I am looking for three sisters who married prior to July 1932. I found some information in an obituary that mentions them.

Edith James b. 1893, Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Mary Ann James b. 1900, Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Rebecca James b. 1902, Chesterfield, Derbyshire

In the obituary they are listed as (not in any order): Mrs J Godfrey, Mrs J Peach, Mrs Gledhill.

I'd like to know who each one married and when.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

I think think they would probably all have married in the Chesterfield area.

Thank you,

Mary
