might be spelt any number of ways...........chiddicks, chitticks, chiddock, chittox etc.........

at the risk of really pushing my luck do you have access to the 1851 census???.........if so i am looking for a sarah chiddicks born 1829 appx in south fambridge, essex..........she is still living in south fambridge in the 1841 census

yep thats right ive got her death as 1893 in rochford. Could be either baisey or basey as well

She died in 1893 in Rochford district so she has to be there somewhere.

I see one born in Hawkwell on the other censuses. Is this your one? I don't see her in 1891 at the moment.

1891 census for Essex for a Louisa Baisey/basey aged appx 70 born in South Fambridge, Essex.

Possibly in Rochford area, her husband was deceased by this time, so not sure if she was living alone/lodging etc

wow.......killed two birds with one stone.........my 1881 census details were incorrect, she was not on that census, i have the correct info but mistakingly entered it wrongly on my tree program.........so this eliza cuthby dying in 1876 fits perfectly now
