I have a Thomas Hartley b:17th April 1827 somewhere near Bradford. Father William and Mother Mary Laycock. He had 4 siblings. George, Sarah, Joseph and Mary. He was baptised 16th June 1827 at the Kirkgate Wesleyan Bradford.

Any chance he may be your man's father?

Hi Briian.
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Parents to Thomas were William Hartley b: C1800 Bradford and Mary Laycock b: C1801 also in Bradford.They had 5 children. George, Sarah, Thomas, Joseph and Mary.

Thomas was born 17th April 1827 and baptiised at Kirkgate Wesleyan Church at Bradford.

He may or may not be your Thomas but I thought it was worth mentioning. I don't have any other details about regarding marriage or issue, but if would like any of the other information I have about this family please let me know. Kind regards. Helen
