Hi Julia
i would be grateful if you coud search for a Sarah Ragland/Ragler nee Baxter. D.O.B 1850 (APPROX) year of travel to UK around 1885 but thats a guess, she was definitely here in UK by 1888. Think she would have travelled from New York as she lived in Brooklyn.

thanks so much

Hi Jean

There a quite a few John Burkes born around 1903. Do you have any idea of his profession, that would help, or would he be travelling with anyone i.e. wife, son, daughter etc. Or a middle name.

Hi Julia, it would be really helpful, I've tried doing a look up myself but cant see the results. I'm looking for Mary O'connor born about 1885 and her sister Margaret born 1893, I assumed that they came from ireland to britain prior to 1901-1910 but it seems to pull up an arival TO ireland (in all probability closer to 1910, not on 1901 census in britain and 1st child born 1910 in Staffordshire) They may be travelling with their father Peter (no known date of birth) and Mary maybe travelling as Mrs Mary Smith and her husband was John Smith. I'm sorry its not a lot to go on but anything you find will be a help. Thanks in advance. xx

Hello Julia

Could you see if you can find anything on a Richard John Kilpatrick born 1864 Armagh Ireland.

He immigrated (on his own) to Australia in 1883, port of departure was Plymouth. So I am assuming he must have come across from Ireland 1880-1883.

Many thanks
Helen
