Could I possibly ask for another lookup please. I think I may have found my Aunt and her daughter.

Morag Hughes born 1928 Baillieston Glasgow departed Canada for Southampton, England with her daughter Elaine.

She originally went to Canada in 1952 but returned to UK about 1954-1955.

Thanks for the offer,I hope you can help !
We have a relative who apparently was born in Norway 30/9/1904....and we know he married Ann Forrest White in Newcastle in 1931 but we have no idea when he came to UK ! His name was Haakon Olsen Etherington he died in Doncaster in 1983.
We have his marriage and death cert. but they do not give us any info of his arrival date, or where in Norway he was from etc.
I hope you might be able to help.

Hi Julia,

Could you please have a look for Josephine Kelly Born 1915, coming over from Ireland, possibly Waterford with her mother and father.

Her father was possibly Nicholas and mother possibly Mary.

I am unsure when they came over, however Josephine did marry in Oxford in 1935.

This has been my "brickwall" for a considerable time, very frustrating, so any info would be greatfully received.

My grt-grt grandfather George DONALDSON born 1849c Edinburgh Scotland returned to Glasgow in 1925. He was living in Michigan USA with his daughter. He would have left from New York arriving in Glasgow.

Any information on this return trip would be great.
