Basham could be a family name from either side. It may have been his mother's maiden name or her father's name or John's Father's name When you trace your family further back you may find your answer. |

Same family in the 1901. They have moved to Lincolnshire but John is still a railway signalman even though his middle initial has changed I'm reasonably sure it's the same person. Basham has become Wesley but maybe that's what the W stands for. |
