he never had a middle name to my knowledge everone called him bill because he never liked his name i know his dad died not long after he was born and his mum remarried to the name of hewit i have just noticed my nans name is spelt marion thompson |

Was her first name spelt Marian? If so the death registration gives her date of birth as 08 Oct 1907 |

can anyone help my nan was marrion thompson i am trying to trace this side of my family she was married to willie howarth her dad was i think edger thompson he had 13 kids he was a mason/sculpter i think they lived in barnsley area there was a vesner thompson from halifax trying to find out about my grandad that is as far as i can get please can anyone help |
