Thank you both. i think the second one looks most likely. i found three births on IGI for children. two of the children i have in 1841 census says born wisborough green but found on IGI likely ones in STopham. Thank you very much.

:)
Leanne.

EDIT: thank you Vera for the IGI ref to Edmond. that is the one i had found but wasn't quite certain on as i didn't know which to trust IGI or Census. Thanks again.

Thank you Vera, sorry where did you find this please?

are there any records like certificates which will give parents or witnesses at all please? i have found a brother Moses with him in 1861 census and so would like to find his fathers name to see if i can fully recognise this link.

thank you very much for replying. :)

Hi all,

i am attempting to find the marriage of George Luxford. he married an Ann probably sometime before 1927 as i beleive that is when their first child Ann was born. i have this from the 1841 census. had three children Ann (1827), William (1829) and Edmund (1833).

i beleive George was born in c.1803 in wisborough green, Sussex. I know there will be no marriage cert as its before 1837 but i wondered if anyone may be able to find something in parish records or such?

i haven't done much pre-census as yet so i don't really know what there is to find but would be greatful for any help or advice.

Thank you,
Leanne.
