No I looked for Nellie and couldn't find her either :-(

This could be her death...but if it is...where is she in 1911?

Has anyone found these Pitts to eliminate as the missing child?
born Worcester. However, father was in the Army, so possibly born elsewhere. Can't find any service records for him.

Can't find on 1911 -- John Wilfred RP Pitt b Sep 1894
-- Alfred JAmes b Sep 1906

1911 - Lilian MArtha b Dec 1895 is down a niece to Thomas and Jessie Bishop, can't determine her in 1901

1911 - Edith b 1899 a pupil at Deaf and dumb School, who does she belong to?

Have looked at the census can not find any clues.

My mother definatly remembers twin being on her mothers side.
We have reason to believe that Nellie Elizabeth is one.

Have sent for her birth cert.

My mum also remembers someone having dieabtes and went blind.

Did you notice that the dsabilities colum for the 1911 posting for Fred Pitt says he was totally blind from 47 years?

yes Frederick Pitt Died in Powick of general paralysis and brain haemorrage.
Diabetes runs in the family.

Nellie elizabeth Pitt is definatly not one of the missing two as the birth cert came this morning and has arthur and alice as parents.

Wow...that's disappointing...it really looked like a twin registration. And so she IS the one I found in Droitwich....it's going to be really difficult to find them I think. More frustrating that they are stated as born alive and still living...my pet hate has been the total/living/died as I have discovered I am missing no end of children (who died) and there's little or no way of finding them without speculating lots of dosh!
