Me too, but glad you changed it!!

Haven't got time to look just now as I am off to bed soon but I do have a good site for Potterspury.

I can't remember exactly what is on there just now but it may be of help to you:

Let me know if you find anything.

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help ?
Im looking for any info or what I should do next.

Agnes Harsley Born in Potterspury, Stoney Stratford c1868.
On 1881 census shown as farther John Harsley (b 1852 in Skendleby, Lincolnshire) Mother Emma Barley (b 1852 in Potterspury) - This would of made them 16 at the time of Agnes birth.
I found John Harsley in the 1871 census as unmarried !!!, living with his brother Henry.( all the dates, names and ages match)
I have searched on freebmd and there is no record of a Marriage for John and Emma. The only thing I can find is an entry for an Emma Barley (Also show as Emma Bailey) Marrying an Ambrose william Bull in 1868 in Potterspury - they have a daughter Agnes !?! Freebmd again - Agnes Bull Born 1868 !?!.

I hope im not confusing anyone here ( Im a little confused myself sometimes !!)

Ok moving on in the years Ambrose Bull (1901 census - I think) is shown as a widower, there is a record for an Emma Bull, Death in 1888 in Potterspury aged 35 - which would mean she was born in 1852/53 !! arrrrgghhhh-
And I am unable to find any record of the Harsleys in 1891 !

I would love to know what was going on and Im hoping that someone can advise ??
I actually dont live far from Potterspury - should I go to the churches ??

Thanks for reading,

Regards,

Emma.
