Edited because found the Alice M Price death age was 29 not 25 so this IS her
Name: Alice M Hinks
Year of Registration: 1915
Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
Mother's Maiden Name: Brookes
District: Birmingham (1837-1924)
County: Warwickshire
Volume: 6d
Page: 371
Michaels adopted mum was probably his mums sister ??if so if you trace her info then you can match Alice to the same family

records online only go up to 2005 so you would need to get the cert from the local records office in the area he died

I was going to try & find relatives for antony as I have more info on him that I do on their birth mother or adopted mothers, michaels adopted mom was his birth moms sister & antonys adopted mom was their birth moms mom.

Kelly

I put in the surname Hinks with mmn Brookes to see if I could fine a match for a Lillian and an Alice and they both came up with the same registration district, the only way that you can be certain though is to order the actual certificates.1917 Lillian /1915 Alice

Going with Alice being born 1915 this looks like the marriage of her parents.
Name: Joseph W Hinks
Year of Registration: 1915
Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
Spouse's Surname: Brookes
District: Birmingham (1837-1924)
County: Warwickshire
Volume: 6d
Page: 355

spouse Alice E Brookes

possible birth
Name: Joseph William Hinks
Year of Registration: 1894
Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun
District: Birmingham (1837-1924)
County: Warwickshire
Volume: 6d
Page: 17

You would need their ages from the marriage cert and their fathers names to go back further on the right families

Shirley~I,m getting the hang of it Report 11 Apr 2009 10:44

Found the marriage on second time of looking
Dec qtr 1938
Alice M Hinks spouse Price Birmingham 6d 867
spouse Ernest Price.
So seems Anthony was given his dads name as a second christian name, and Michael was given grandad Joseph name as a second name.

Hi Kelly ,well even i got tired eyes as i read the death age as 25 the first time around .I only realised when i started looking again from the Sept qtr 1944 and worked through. How i read it as 25 i dont know but as you say I think you sometimes run out of steam.
