Hi - yet another question!!!!

I have found that my gr gr gr grandad is John Read married to Mary. In 1881 they appear on the census with 8 children. I can find no trace of any of them in 1891, but in 1901 the 3 eldest children reappear.

What happened to John c1844, Mary c1838, and the five youngest Maria c1872, Annie c1873, Harriet c1874, Levi c1875 and Mary c1879? Is there any chance that they left the country - and if so does anyone have any records? I know from another family tree that Levi married Daisy Miller and they had a daughter Joyce in 1926 tho I have no idea why he isnt on a census

Any ideas or info?

Levi is here in 1891 working as a farm servant - surname Reed

Thanks! Don't know why I didn't think to look at alternate spellings!! It's one of the things I hate now when people spell my surname incorrectly!!!!
