After being so well received on my derbyshire threads..I am ashamed to say i have made a complete boo boo on my own tree.

Ann Bamber married Edward Hugh Bennett 30.03.1872..she was 20 years old and edward was 21.They married in the Parish Church at preston lancs.

Both of edwards parents were dead by 1871 (James bennett and mary A Dixon)
I made assumptions about Ann Bamber's parentage that may be faulty.........and would appreciate any help in confirming or denying what I have got.

I noticed that the marriage certificate contained MARY BAMBER as a witness.......(Father is the late James Bamber)

Can anyone pleasde find a marriage for James and Mary ..or a james bamber with a sister mary???

I have IGI and i have Ancestry.com and all the census records............but nothing.

Anyone really interested in helping can PM me and i'll open my tree as it stands.....

Thanks in anticipation..Derbyshire Derek
