I'll have to order her birth cert and find out her dad's name from that. I just wondered whether the 1911 census might throw light on where she was in 1901. Looks like she was probably in the Eastry district as she was still there in 1911! Thanks again, Wendy

	you can access the1911 census its free to search but you have to buy units to view any results. She isnt coming up on the 1901 census as yet but is this her marriage. If you buy her birth cert it will give her parenst names and the marriage will give her fathers name. Member Since: August 2007 Posts: 20 Send Message	Hi, my granmother was born in Dec 1897, registered in Jan q 1898 as Anne/Annie Macey, reg Eastry 2a 989. I've been looking in the 1901 census to see if I can find her parents, but there is no trace. I don't have access to 1911 census, and wondered if anyone could help me to find her family? My mum says that she did have a couple of sisters, one called Margaret (possibly) and another whose name I don't know. As she used surname Macey later and had birth reg as Macey it seems strange she isn't in 1901 census, As I'm in New Zealand, it is difficult for me to access records... If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Many thanks, Wendy
